Landscaping & Fencing

Transform your outdoor space with Nicholson Plant Hire & Ground Works.

From new fencing and driveways to patios, lawns and complete garden renovations, we provide high-quality landscaping solutions for domestic and commercial properties across Wigan and the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re improving security, creating a new entertaining space or completely redesigning your garden, we can manage the project from preparation through to the finished result.

All Aspects of Fencing

We supply and install a wide range of fencing to suit gardens, boundaries, driveways and commercial properties.

From simple replacement panels to complete new boundary installations, every job is completed with durability, appearance and long-term performance in mind.

Bespoke Timber Fencing

For spaces where standard panels simply won’t work, we can create made-to-measure timber fencing tailored to your property.

Ideal for unusual boundaries, stepped gardens, custom designs and customers looking for something more individual than an off-the-shelf fencing system.

Concrete Posts & Gravel Boards

For a strong, long-lasting fencing solution, we can install fencing using concrete posts and gravel boards.

This helps protect timber panels from ground moisture and provides a durable structure that is ideal for exposed gardens and long-term boundary installations.

Composite Fencing

Composite fencing offers a modern, low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber.

Available in a range of styles and finishes, it provides excellent durability without the regular painting, staining and upkeep associated with wooden fencing.

Driveways

Give your property a smarter and more practical entrance with a professionally prepared driveway.

We can undertake the complete groundwork, excavation and preparation required before installing your chosen finish.

Tarmac Driveways

Tarmac provides a hard-wearing, practical and cost-effective driveway surface.

From removing an existing driveway through to excavation, preparation, edging and the finished tarmac surface, we can manage the complete installation.

Patios & Outdoor Areas

Create a practical outdoor area for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying your garden.

We undertake patio preparation and installation using a range of materials and finishes, with careful attention given to levels, drainage and the quality of the finished surface.

Porcelain Paving

Porcelain paving provides a clean, modern finish and is becoming increasingly popular for contemporary gardens.

Its durable, low-maintenance surface makes it ideal for patios, pathways and outdoor entertaining areas.

Indian Stone

For a more traditional and natural appearance, Indian sandstone paving offers individual colours, textures and character.

It is an excellent choice for patios, pathways and landscaped garden areas where a more natural finish is desired.

Turf

Whether your garden needs completely replacing or you're finishing a new landscaping project, we can prepare and level the ground before installing fresh turf.

Proper preparation helps produce a healthier, more even lawn and a professional finished appearance.

Artificial Grass

Artificial grass provides a clean, low-maintenance lawn that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

We undertake the necessary excavation, preparation and installation to create a stable base and a neat, long-lasting finish.

Complete Garden Renovations

Looking for more than just one improvement?
